Building a new home of your own is always an exciting experience for anyone. It is the only true way to really have a home that really fulfills all of your wants, needs, desires and expectations. It is very difficult for a new home builder to make their homes unique for everyone, because all people and families have different lifestyles. American Housing knows that, and because of that, we will help you design your new home accordingly, while at the same time helping you keep it within your budget.

There are many factors to consider when building a new home, especially when it is an “on your own lot” new home. Some of these factors include site preparation, tree management, floor plan development, drainage, type of sewer or septic system, interior design, landscaping, fencing, foundation design, building plans and structural engineering, building codes, and so on.

American Housing will work with you to help create the home you’ve always wanted. We’ll start with a free initial building cost estimate for any floor plan you have in mind, even if you haven’t purchased a lot yet. In order to get started, American Housing will help you:
1. Determine your budget.
The first step is to get pre-approved for your financing, to determine price range. Your basic price range will help determine the right combination of lot price, home square footage, special features, and interior and exterior finishes.
2. Decide on where you want to build.
If you already have a lot, send us a copy of your plot plan so that we will be able to give you a better idea for your total building costs. If you’re still looking for the perfect location for your new home, we have many available lots and we also work with many local Realtors and real estate professionals throughout the Tampa Bay area to help you find the perfect lot in the perfect location.
3. Choose and customize your choice of floor plans.
We build one and two story homes and have many floor plans to select from. You can customize any of our floor plans to better fit your tastes, such as rearranging kitchens, moving walls, windows or doors, expanding rooms, adding additional living area, expanding garages, and much more.

There is also no need to purchase the blueprints or floor plans because that is all included in our new home package. Whether you choose a plan from one of our in-house selection of floor plans, already have one from an architect, or something you have sketched out on a piece of paper, we can help make that dream a reality.

American Housing builds custom homes “on your lot” in the entire Tampa Bay area, including Pinellas, Hillsborough and Manatee Counties.
