Hi, I’m Mick McKenzie, one of the owners of American Housing Builders and along with being a Certified Green Home Building Professional, I am a third generation home builder and have been building homes in the Pinellas County and Tampa Bay area for over thirty years.
We here at American Housing Builders have been very successful over the years and I think it is partly because we don’t measure our success just by the quality of our work, but also by the satisfaction of our customers. With our many innovative home designs, along with our team of home building experts, we are able to assure our homebuyers of a quality home that they will be proud of for many years to come.
From the very beginning, we have strived very hard to make the home building procedure an enjoyable process for our homebuyers. In fact, because we actually build our new homes in the State of Florida, which as you know is the home of Disney World, we will even try and make your home buying experience, a “magical” experience. Heck, we may even throw in a “mouse.” Well, I’m just kidding about the mouse, but we will try and make it “magical.”
Anyway, we usually have new homes available that are ready for immediate occupancy, but many of our home buyers prefer to have their new homes built to their own specifications that better suits them and their own lifestyle.
While building your new home, we will continue to perform quality inspections throughout the entire construction process and give you updated status reports as it does progresses.
At the frame stage of construction and before the drywall goes in, you will meet with the job superintendent and go over the entire home to be sure everything has been included in to your satisfaction.
Once your home is complete, you will again meet with the job superintendent for your “New Home Orientation. Now, this is where we will explain to you the use of your appliances and equipment, like your dishwasher, your air conditioning system and your heat pump.
Like you, we are also very concerned with the environment and we are continually working to make our homes more environmentally friendly.
And remember, we have many floor plans to choose from and we will customize any of our plans to suit your lifestyle. We even have a design center to help you with all of your product selections and color choices throughout your new home.
As your builder, we will also provide you with a 10 year structural warranty from “2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Corporation.” We also have an established service department as a part of our commitment to you as an American Housing homeowner.
We are very active in our community and are members of the
National Association of Home Builders, The Tampa Bay Home Builders Association, The National Association of the Remodeling Industry, The Local Chamber of Commerce, And the Better Business Bureau.
