Hi. My name is Lee Kretzer. As one of the owners of American Housing Builders, I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our home on the web.
Whether you have just begun the process of investing in a new home, or just browsing, you are at the site of one of the oldest and most successful home builders in the Tampa Bay area. Building quality homes is what we do, it’s what we know, and it is who we are. The motivation behind our building passion, however, is you.
Since we began, we have worked hard to insure that each of our customers feel right at home. We are proud of this history, and it is true to who we are. Despite our success, we will continue to strive to raise the bar of excellence. This commitment expands beyond the walls of each new home we build. We have always shared a passion for making our community a better place to live. This is our home too.

Over the past 30 years I have often been asked, “When is the best time to buy?” The answer has always been now. In the long run, new homes have historically gone up in value. If you were to ask your parents or your grandparents what was one of the best investments they ever made, they would tell you it was their home.
